Review: Pixi Lip Balm

It dawned on me a few weeks ago just how much I love this lip balm (***spoiler alert!). So I thought I’d do a review because I haven’t seen many people talking about this product.

The package is nice, nothing to write home about, but it does the job. It’s in the typical Pixi colour and style packaging. I have found the the lid is a bit loose, and very easy to open (maybe it’s just mine) so that’s something to be aware of when throwing a lip product into your handbag as you run out the door.

The product itself is fantastic. I have the shade Natural Rose, and it’s my perfect natural lip colour. The pigment is great considering it is marketed as a lip balm. And this lasts on me for about 4 hours, with moderate eating/drinking, and that’s without bothering to use a lip liner. Also, it’s nice and hydrating for my lips. On days when my lips feel a bit dry and sore, I avoid lipstick, and use this instead. It’s pigmented and moisturising, so what’s not to love?!

Pixi as a brand are cruelty free and I’ve mentioned before that I am trying to be more aware of which brands I choose to spend my money on. This is the first product that I’ve tried from Pixi, and I cannot wait to try some more!

If anyone is looking for the perfect lip balm to leave in your handbag, year round, I’d definitely suggest picking this up.
