I love, love, love a haul. Whether it’s mine or someone else’s. Whether it’s a blog post, or a Youtube video. I love seeing them, reading them, and doing them myself.
So the other day, I went into my usual TK Maxx, (for any Americans, that’s what we call TJ Maxx) and they must have had the monster of all deliveries! They literally had products from Nars, Estee Lauder, MAC, Becca, Anastasia Beverly Hills, and so many more that I can’t remember. But as I try to not buy products that aren’t cruelty free, that limited my choice slightly, but I am so incredibly happy with what I purchased.
So here’s what I picked up!
I’ve done a review on the clear Dr Pawpaw balm on my blog before, and I saw they had this multipack. I’ve never tried the peach, or cherry coloured ones, but I think they will be perfect during the cooler autumn and winter weather. The pack cost me £10.00. Yep, you read that right, just £10.00. I’ve bought the mini version of the clear one for £3.00 before and these tubes are literally 3 times the size, each!
I love my Becca Opal Highlighter, and I saw this palette. It has Opal, a blush, and a bronzer, all in the one palette. The blush is the perfect subtle flush. And the bronzer has a little bit of shimmer, but it shows up lovely on the skin (no glitter here). The palette cost me £20! Considering I bought my Becca Opal Highlighter as a mini for £15, the Opal in this is the same size (as far as I can tell) as that mini!
And the third thing I picked up was two Anastasia Beverly Hills Liquid Lipsticks. One in the shade Naked, and one is Ashton. Naked is more of a cool tone, peachy nude. Whilst Aston is a warmer tone brown nude, which actually reminds me of MAC Velvet Teddy. And everyone knows how much of a classic that lipstick is! Each of these Anastasia lipsticks were £11 each. And considering how much I spend on some high street/drugstore lipsticks, it was a no-brainer.
One thing that I would say, people will open the packaging when shopping at TK Maxx. So make sure the product you’re buying hasn’t been opened prior. Aside from the contamination and thought that someone else could have used that lipstick (eww)…it will also affect the expiry date of the makeup. Just something to bare in mind. Happy shopping!
