Review: Charlotte Tilbury

So I’ve been treating myself a fair bit recently and I picked up a few Charlotte Tilbury products. And I’ll be honest, I have some mixed opinions about the products. But let’s be honest, the packaging is absolutely incredible to look at.

On my first trip to Charlotte Tilbury, I picked up the above items. They are Pillow Talk Lipstick, Light Wonder Foundation and Full Fat Lashes Mascara.

I love, love, love, the Pillow Talk Lipstick. It really is the perfect everyday shade! It lasts well with no lip liner.

Light Wonder Foundation is great for shorter wear. It’s a dewy, light to medium coverage. As I have combination/oily skin, it doesn’t last too well on me. But for the first 4 to 5 hours, it looks amazing. And my skin feels incredibly soft, and plump, when I take this off in the evening. I definitely want to try the normal foundation because I think that might last even better on me.

Now onto the negative one…the Full Fat Lashes Mascara. It’s not for me. I have not disliked a mascara this much in years! It doesn’t hold a curl, it flakes on me, and it doesn’t provide much impact (volume or length) to my lashes. I honestly wouldn’t recommend this product to anyone. But I bought it, so I’m going to use it.

So on my second trip I picked up some lip products. I picked up Very Victoria Lipstick and Pillow Talk Lip Liner.

Because I love my Pillow Talk Lipstick so much, I wanted to try another shade. And Very Victoria is a slightly richer but still neutral everyday pink. It’s a bit more cool toned than Pillow Talk and I really like that for a change.

And because I love the colour of Pillow Talk Lipstick, I picked up the Lip Liner. And it’s great. I use it every single day. Regardless of whether I am using the matching lipstick or not.

But the problem now is that I want to try more from Charlotte Tilbury…

Love,

Laurie
